- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup Bisquick (or similar baking mix)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a skillet, brown beef with onion until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread beef mixture in the pie dish, then sprinkle with crumbled bacon and cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, Bisquick, and eggs until smooth, then pour evenly over the beef mixture.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and set. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- This pie can be customized with other toppings like pickles or tomatoes.
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- This dish is best served warm.
