Balsamic Glazed Asparagus is a deliciously simple dish that features tender roasted asparagus drizzled with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze.

- 1 pound Fresh asparagus
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- to taste Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of the asparagus and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, honey or maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Spread the seasoned asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet and roast for 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
- Remove the asparagus from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top. Toss to coat well.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more honey or maple syrup if desired.
- For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey.
