- 1 Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 pounds ground beef
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cans (10.5 ounces each) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- Cheddar Bay Garlic Herb Blend
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix, water, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well blended and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until the beef is browned and no pink remains. Drain excess grease.
- Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and smooth the top of the meat mixture.
- Scoop the biscuit mixture on top of the meat mixture, creating 5-6 biscuits evenly spaced.
- Bake the casserole at 425°F (220°C) for 20-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are fully cooked and golden brown.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and Cheddar Bay Garlic Herb Blend. Brush the mixture over the cooked biscuits. Serve and enjoy!
