Description

A delicious and hearty dish combining the flavors of cheeseburgers and crispy Tater Tots, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup diced bacon, cooked
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning (Montreal)
  • ½ onion, yellow, finely chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10.5 ounces cheddar soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 28 ounces frozen Tater Tots

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay out the frozen tots in a dish and bake them for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat up a frying pan over medium-high and cook the ground meat along with the onion until the meat’s no longer pink. Drain grease and toss in steak seasoning.
  3. Mix bacon, sour cream, and cheese soup into your cooked beef and stir well. Spread this mix over the tots in the dish and sprinkle cheddar cheese over everything.
  4. Pop the dish back into the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes at 400°F (200°C) until the top is bubbly and the tots crisp up. Dish out and dig in!

Notes

  • Make sure to drain the grease from the meat for a healthier dish.
  • You can add other toppings such as pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • This dish can serve as a great appetizer for parties or a fun weeknight dinner.
