Description
Chicken Philly Sliders are a delightful combination of shredded rotisserie chicken, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted cheese, all nestled in soft brioche rolls.

- ½ tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 cup diced yellow onion
- 2 ½ cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- ½ cup water
- 0.87 oz chicken gravy mix
- 12 brioche dinner rolls
- 8 slices Provolone cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- ½ tablespoon Montreal steak spice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the green peppers and onions to the skillet and cook until they start to brown.
- Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and stir well.
- Add the water and gravy mix to the skillet and stir until all of the chicken is coated. Reduce the heat to low.
- Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom buns on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the chicken mixture onto the buns and spread it out evenly.
- Place the cheese slices on top of the chicken.
- Place the top buns on the sandwiches.
- Brush the melted butter on the tops of the buns and sprinkle the Montreal steak spice on top.
- Cover the sliders with foil.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and the buns are nicely browned, about 17 – 20 minutes.
- Remove the sliders from the oven and pull them apart.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed mushrooms.
- Feel free to substitute the provolone cheese with your favorite variety.
- These sliders can be made ahead and reheated in the oven before serving.
