- 2 cups (480ml) whole milk
- ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (100g) sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the croissants into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture over the croissant pieces and chocolate chips in a baking dish.
- Gently press down on the croissants to ensure they soak up the custard.
- Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes before baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
