			- 1 cup warm milk (about 105-115°F)
 - 2 and 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (one packet)
 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
 - 3 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1 large egg, at room temperature
 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - Vegetable oil, for frying
 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
 - 2 tablespoons milk or cream, as needed
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
 - 1 cup chopped peanut butter cups
 - 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts (optional)

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of the granulated sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
 - Add the remaining granulated sugar, flour, salt, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
 - Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
 - Lightly grease a clean bowl, place the dough in it, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
 - Prepare the peanut butter filling by whisking together peanut butter, powdered sugar, and salt, then adding milk or cream as needed for a thick consistency.
 - Once the dough has doubled, punch it down and roll it to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut out donut shapes.
 - Transfer the cut donuts to a baking sheet, cover loosely, and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
 - Heat about 3-4 inches of vegetable oil to 350-375°F. Fry 2-3 donuts at a time for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
 - Remove the fried donuts and allow them to cool completely.
 - Make the chocolate glaze by combining chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl and heating until smooth.
 - Use a piping bag to fill each donut with the peanut butter filling.
 - Dip the tops of the filled donuts in the chocolate glaze and sprinkle with chopped peanut butter cups and peanuts.
 - Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes
- Ensure the milk is warm but not too hot to activate the yeast.
 - Frying in small batches helps prevent overcrowding and ensures even cooking.
 - For a sweeter filling, adjust the amount of powdered sugar to taste.
