Description

Churro Cheesecake Donut Cookies are a delightful fusion of soft donut cookies filled with creamy cheesecake and coated in cinnamon sugar, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

For the cheesecake filling, you’ll need:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

And for that irresistible cinnamon sugar coating:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Optional Add-ons:

  • Chocolate chips
  • Chopped nuts
  • A dash of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by creaming together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Make the cheesecake filling by mixing softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Assemble the cookies by filling each donut mold halfway with batter, adding cheesecake filling, and covering with more batter.
  4. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Coat the baked cookies in melted butter and roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
