Description

Churro Saltine Toffee is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the flavors of churros and toffee for a sweet and crunchy treat.


Ingredients

  • Saltine crackers
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the mixture boils.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the saltine crackers and bake for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee.
  6. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle the mixture over the chocolate chips.
  7. Finish with a light sprinkle of sea salt on top.
  8. Allow the toffee to cool completely before breaking it into pieces and enjoying.
