Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then sear 1-2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked. Remove and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and whisk in Parmesan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
  5. Spoon cooked rice into bowls, sprinkle with parsley and dill, and top with the shrimp. Serve immediately.
