- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
- 1/2 cup creamy dip (ranch, garlic aioli, or dip of choice)
Instructions
- Prepare the mozzarella sticks by unwrapping and patting them dry. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Coat each stick in flour, dip in egg, and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the marinara sauce by warming store-bought or making from scratch with sautéed garlic, crushed tomatoes, and seasonings.
- Mix the creamy dip ingredients or use store-bought. Serve with the fried mozzarella sticks.
