- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups French onion soup
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs in the crock pot. Pour the French onion soup over them.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs. Cover and let the cheese melt.
- Serve warm and enjoy.

- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
