Description

Crock Pot French Onion Meatballs are a hearty and flavorful dish featuring meatballs cooked in a savory French onion soup and topped with melted mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups French onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the crock pot. Pour the French onion soup over them.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs. Cover and let the cheese melt.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy.
