Description

A simple and delicious recipe for making Christmas candy using a crockpot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 ounces dry roasted peanuts
  • 24 ounces almond bark, chopped
  • 10 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 10 ounces dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pour all the peanuts into the bottom of the crockpot, and spread them even.
  2. Add the milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and chopped almond bark.
  3. Cover the top of the crockpot with a kitchen towel, ensuring it does not dip inside the crockpot.
  4. Set the crockpot to low and cook the ingredients for 1 ½ hours.
  5. Turn the crockpot to “warm” and stir the entire pot until the ingredients are smooth and creamy.
  6. Using a small cookie scoop or heaping tablespoon, spoon the candies onto parchment paper, giving them space to prevent blending together.
  7. Pause every 20 candies to sprinkle them with Christmas sprinkles until the entire pot is empty.
  8. Let sit for 2 hours, or until hardened, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure the towel is tight before placing the lid on the crockpot.
  • If chocolate doesn’t appear melted, stirring will help it blend smoothly.
