Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Crockpot Pineapple BBQ Chicken that offers a flavorful feast with tender chicken and a sweet tangy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup Pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Pour the pineapple BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and mix it with the sauce.
  6. Serve the pineapple BBQ chicken hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
