Description

Easy Chicken Bulgogi Dak is a delicious and quick recipe featuring marinated chicken thighs stir-fried or air-fried to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang paste (omit for mild version)

Instructions

  1. Combine sliced onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, rice vinegar, avocado oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and gochujang paste in a large bowl. Add chicken thigh pieces and mix thoroughly to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken mixture and stir-fry for approximately 12 minutes, ensuring the chicken is cooked through and the sauce becomes caramelized.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 195°C on air fry mode. Place the chicken and marinade in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25 minutes, turning occasionally for an even caramelized exterior.

Notes

  • For a milder version, omit the gochujang paste.
  • Serve with rice or lettuce wraps for a complete meal.
