Description
A quick and delicious recipe for creamy garlic lobster tails that can be made in minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp flour
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 garlic clove, minced (for sauce)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler.
- Use kitchen scissors to cut the top shell of lobster tails lengthwise and gently pull meat upward, resting it on top of the shell.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Brush lobster meat generously with this mixture.
- Broil lobster tails for 8–10 minutes, or until meat is opaque and lightly browned.
- While they broil, make the cream sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in cream and cook until thickened, about 3–4 minutes. Add Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Spoon warm sauce over lobster tails. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcook the lobster, as it can become tough.
- Feel free to add more garlic for a stronger flavor.
- This dish pairs well with a side of steamed vegetables or a light salad.
