- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (for filling)
- 2 cups pecan halves or chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, flour, granulated sugar, and salt until crumbly.
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan.
- Bake the crust until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and the 2 tbsp melted butter until smooth.
- Stir in the pecans until fully coated.
- Pour the pecan filling over the warm crust and spread gently.
- Return to the oven and bake until set and golden.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy the gooey crunch!

- Make sure to cool the bars completely before cutting to ensure neat slices.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
