Description
Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese is a delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, offering a rich garlic flavor and gooey cheese goodness.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices sandwich bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, blend softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley until completely combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly onto one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices of bread buttered-side down. Evenly distribute the cheese blend over these slices. Cover each with the remaining bread, buttered-side up, to create two sandwiches.
- Heat a large sauté pan over low heat. Carefully place the sandwiches into the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes until the bottoms are golden and crisp.
- Use a spatula to turn the sandwiches. Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, until the opposite side is golden brown and cheese is melted throughout.
- Remove from pan and serve immediately while hot and the cheese remains gooey.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding sliced tomatoes or cooked bacon inside the sandwich.
- You can use any type of cheese you prefer.
- Make sure to cook over low heat to prevent burning the bread before the cheese melts.
