  • 1/2 cup (50 g) breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped fresh herbs (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
  • Vegetables (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meatball mixture by combining ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and cook them in a skillet with olive oil and butter until golden brown.
  3. Make the garlic butter sauce by melting remaining butter, adding minced garlic, and stirring in heavy cream and Italian seasoning.
  4. Cook the linguine in salted water until al dente, reserving some pasta water.
  5. Combine the cooked linguine with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed, and top with meatballs and garnish.
