Description

A delicious dish featuring garlic butter sausage bites served with creamy Parmesan pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) turkey sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (your choice)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the turkey sausage pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and dried thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the creamy sauce, coating it evenly.
  6. Add the browned sausage bites back into the skillet, mixing them with the pasta and sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to use any type of pasta you prefer.
  • For a spicier kick, consider adding red pepper flakes.
  • This dish can be made with chicken or pork sausage as well.
