Description

A delightful summer treat featuring grilled nectarines paired with creamy burrata and drizzled with honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe nectarines, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 balls burrata cheese (about 4 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
  • Flaky sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper (optional)
  • Fresh basil or mint leaves, for garnish
  • Optional: crushed pistachios or toasted walnuts for crunch
  • Optional: balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill: Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Lightly brush cut sides of nectarines with olive oil.
  2. Grill the nectarines: Place nectarines cut side down on the grill. Cook for 3–4 minutes until grill marks appear and fruit is slightly softened.
  3. Plate it up: Place grilled nectarines on a serving platter. Tear the burrata and arrange over or beside the nectarines.
  4. Finish and serve: Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with flaky salt, and add herbs, black pepper, and optional nuts or balsamic glaze. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Choose ripe nectarines for the best flavor.
  • Adjust honey to your desired sweetness.
  • Serve warm for the best texture and taste.
