Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese or breadcrumbs (for binding)
  • 4 Burger buns (brioche, whole wheat, or gluten-free)
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, mozzarella, avocado, mayo, extra pesto

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, pesto, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined—don’t overwork.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. If mixture is too wet, add a tablespoon of breadcrumbs or grated parmesan.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F).
  4. Oil the grill grates and place the patties on the grill. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
