Description
A refreshing and spicy twist on the classic margarita made with kiwi and jalapeño.
Ingredients

- 1.5 oz tequila
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 2 kiwis, peeled and chopped
- 0.5 oz agave syrup
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ½ jalapeño, chopped
- Chili powder, for rimming
- Lime wedge, to wet rim and garnish
- Kiwi or jalapeño slice, for garnish
Instructions
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip into chili powder if desired. Fill glass with ice and set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle chopped kiwi and jalapeño with agave syrup and lime juice.
- Add tequila and Cointreau. Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Double strain into your prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Add a lime wedge, kiwi slice, or a thin strip of jalapeño for an eye-catching finish.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of jalapeño used.
- For a sweeter drink, add more agave syrup.
- Can be served blended with ice for a frozen version.
