- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 cup bread crumbs (Italian-style recommended)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with bread crumbs, parmesan, and seasonings.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and coat evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Mix shredded mozzarella with remaining parmesan and minced garlic, then sprinkle over the chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot with your favorite sides!

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before cooking.
