Description

Mac Cheese Bacon Burger Rolls are a delicious combination of seasoned ground beef, creamy mac and cheese, and crispy bacon, all rolled in a tortilla for a perfect snack or meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni pasta
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked crispy bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, ketchup, and mustard. Add cooked seasoned beef and mix until well combined.
  3. Lay out tortillas on a clean surface. Spoon a generous portion of the mac and cheese beef mixture onto the center of each tortilla. Roll tightly like burritos, tucking in the sides.
  4. Brush each roll with melted butter. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook rolls seam-side down, rotating every 2-3 minutes until all sides are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Let rolls cool for a minute, then slice in half to show off the filling. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding spices or herbs of your choice to the beef mixture.
  • You can use different types of cheese for variation.
  • If you want a spicier kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
