- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter for extra richness)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for depth)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup ketchup (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option, for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, egg, olive oil, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on the lined baking sheet. Smooth the top and sides for an even shape.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and garlic powder. Brush the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake in the oven for 45–50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Optionally, broil for 2–3 minutes for extra caramelization.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
