  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for cheesecake layer)

  • ½ cup caramel sauce (homemade or thick store-bought)
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Extra caramel sauce for drizzling
  • ½ cup melted semi-sweet chocolate (or ganache)
  • Sea salt flakes
  • A few extra pecans for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the brownie batter: Whisk together melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until glossy. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well, and then add vanilla. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  2. Spread the base: Pour about two-thirds of the brownie batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan lined with parchment.
  3. Make the cheesecake filling: In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Layer and swirl: Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base. Spoon dollops of the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl lightly with a knife. Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle toasted pecans over the top.
  5. Bake to perfection: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40–45 minutes, until the center is just set. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Add the final magic: Drizzle with warm caramel and melted chocolate, scatter pecans on top, and finish with a pinch of sea salt.
