Description

A delightful and easy no bake pie perfect for the Christmas season with a refreshing peppermint flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (McCormick pure vanilla extract)
  • 2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint flavoring
  • 10 drops red food color
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip, thawed)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add food coloring, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract, and mix until uniform. Fold in ½ cup of peppermint candy bits.
  3. Gently combine the cream cheese mixture with the whipped heavy cream using low speed until smooth.
  4. Pour the combined mixture into the Oreo crust, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Top with a layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle crushed peppermint over the top. Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.
