Description
A delicious and quick one-pot meal featuring tender chicken, pasta, and colorful vegetables coated in a spicy honey garlic sauce.

- 8 oz (225 g) penne or fusilli pasta
- 1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup mixed bell peppers, thinly sliced (red, yellow, and green)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium-low. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes, mixing well.
- Pour chicken broth into the skillet and bring it to a boil. Add pasta, reduce heat to low, and cover. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the sauce.
- Once the pasta is al dente, toss in the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes until vegetables are tender but slightly crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir to coat evenly in the sauce. Adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper, if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for extra color and flavor.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the red pepper flakes according to your spice preference.
- This recipe can easily be scaled up or down based on serving size.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
