Description
A delicious and indulgent dessert combining the flavors of Oreo cheesecake and donut burgers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large donuts (glazed or cream-filled)
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (optional, for drizzling)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 10–12 Oreo cookies, crushed into small pieces
- 2–3 extra Oreos, crushed (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Oreo Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract and continue beating until the mixture thickens and has a fluffy consistency, about 2-3 minutes. Gently fold in the crushed Oreos until evenly distributed.
- Prepare the Donut Burger: Slice the donuts in half horizontally to create burger buns. If you like, you can lightly toast the cut sides of the donuts in a skillet for extra flavor and texture.
- Assemble the Burger: Generously spoon the Oreo cheesecake filling onto the bottom half of each donut. You can pile it high, depending on how indulgent you want the dessert to be! Place the top half of the donut on top to create a burger.
- Garnish: Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the top of each donut burger, then sprinkle with additional crushed Oreos for an extra crunchy finish.
- Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy the decadent, Oreo-filled goodness. For an extra touch, pair with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side!
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling with more Oreo pieces for extra crunch.
- Store leftover filling in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Pairs well with a variety of ice creams as a side.
