Description

Ingredients

  • Peaches – 4–5 medium (about 3 cups chopped)
  • Granulated Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Heavy Cream – 2 cups
  • Whole Milk – 1 cup
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peaches: Peel, pit, and chop the peaches into small pieces. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle with 1/4 cup of sugar. Let them sit for 15–20 minutes to release their juices.
  2. Blend the Peaches: Once the peaches have softened, use a blender or food processor to purée them until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse a few times.
  3. Mix the Cream Base: In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, the remaining sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Combine: Add the peach purée into the cream mixture, stirring to combine. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Chill: Cover the mixture and refrigerate it for 1–2 hours to chill before churning.
  6. Churn: Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, about 20–25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  7. Freeze: Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for 4–6 hours, or until firm.
  8. Serve: Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping and serving.
