- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Chopped nuts (e.g., pecans or walnuts) for topping
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the peaches thoroughly. Optionally, blanch them in hot water for 30 seconds, then place in ice water to loosen skins. Peel and slice into wedges.
- In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, Greek yogurt, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer or whisk until light and fluffy. Fold in cinnamon if using.
- Gently fold sliced peaches into the cream mixture until fully coated without crushing them. Optionally, sprinkle more cinnamon on top.
- Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to chill and allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, give it a gentle stir. Top with chopped nuts and fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, reduce the amount of heavy cream and Greek yogurt can be substituted with low-fat yogurt.
