A delicious and easy recipe for Pear Goat Cheese Crostini, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

- 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 115 g goat cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon honey, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice lightly with olive oil. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until dissolved. Add pear slices and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until tender and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Spread a layer of goat cheese onto each crostini. Top with one or two slices of caramelized pear.
- Drizzle honey over the pears. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary and optional chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
- Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free bread instead of baguette.
- Feel free to experiment with different nuts for topping.
