Description

A delightful homemade peppermint mocha coffee creamer that adds a festive flavor to your coffee.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or full-fat coconut milk for dairy-free)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 23 tbsp maple syrup, honey, or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼½ tsp peppermint extract (start small — it’s strong!)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together milk, cream, cocoa powder, and sweetener over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously until fully combined and heated through — don’t boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, peppermint extract, and salt.
  4. Let cool, then transfer to a clean glass jar or bottle.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 7–10 days. Shake well before each use.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetener to taste based on your preference.
  • Begin with a smaller amount of peppermint extract, as it has a strong flavor.
