Description

A delicious twist on traditional grilled cheese, combining pepperoni and pizza flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 slices mozzarella (or 1/2 cup shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1/2 ounce pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place one slice buttered-side down in the pan.
  4. Layer with half the cheese, half the sauce, all pepperoni, remaining sauce, and remaining cheese.
  5. Top with the second bread slice, buttered-side up.
