Description

Indulge in the heavenly treat of pistachio-crusted brie rounds topped with a luscious fig jam glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 small Brie rounds (about 2 inches wide)
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Fresh thyme or microgreens (for garnish)
  • Sliced figs or whole pistachios (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly brush Brie rounds with olive oil.
  3. Press chopped pistachios firmly onto the top and sides of the Brie.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until Brie is soft and slightly oozing.
  5. Meanwhile, warm fig jam with balsamic vinegar and honey in a small pan.
  6. Once Brie is baked, carefully transfer to a serving plate.
  7. Spoon fig glaze generously over the tops of the Brie.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and extra pistachios or fig slices.
  9. Serve warm with crackers, crostini, or a spoon!
  10. Optional: dust lightly with black pepper for contrast.
