Description

A delightful fall treat combining popcorn with a sweet pumpkin spice caramel.


Ingredients

  • 10 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 cup roasted pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and pumpkin spice. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with roasted pumpkin seeds.
  7. Let the popcorn cool before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the popcorn is not salted for a better caramel flavor.
