Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Spinach & Feta Frittata perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: herbs (e.g., dill or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté Onions and Garlic: In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Add Spinach: Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  4. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. You can add your preferred herbs at this stage for extra flavor.
  5. Combine: Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed spinach and onion in the skillet. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Cook on Stovetop: Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the edges start to set.
  7. Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the frittata is set and lightly golden on top.
  8. Cool: Once done, remove the skillet from the oven and let the frittata cool for a few minutes before slicing.
