Description

A delicious and healthy skillet meal combining ground turkey, fresh spinach, and mushrooms.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking them for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  3. Introduce the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the turkey is browned and fully cooked.
  4. Mix in the sliced mushrooms, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms have softened.
  5. Add the chopped spinach, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach has wilted.
  6. If you choose, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.

Notes

  • This recipe can be easily customized by adding other vegetables.
  • For a dairy-free option, omit the Parmesan cheese.
