Ingredients

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking them for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
- Introduce the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the turkey is browned and fully cooked.
- Mix in the sliced mushrooms, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms have softened.
- Add the chopped spinach, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach has wilted.
- If you choose, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
Notes
- This recipe can be easily customized by adding other vegetables.
- For a dairy-free option, omit the Parmesan cheese.
- This dish can be served on its own or with a side of whole grains.
