Description

A delicious treat combining creamy cheese and sweet pineapple, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup crushed or chunk pineapple, drained
  • ¼ cup green onion, diced
  • 30 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, pineapple, and green onions in a medium-sized bowl. Combine well.
  2. Spoon the filling in the center of each wrapper. Brush water around the perimeter to lightly moisten the wrapper.
  3. Fold the top and bottom of the wrapper up and pinch the edges together. Then pinch the remaining sides together to create a pocket sealing in the filling.
  4. Lightly brush the exterior of each wonton with olive oil.
  5. Place the wontons in the air fryer, set the temperature to 300°F, and cook until the wrappers are crisp with golden, crunchy edges (about 7-9 minutes).
  6. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure the pineapple is well-drained to prevent soggy wontons.
  • Experiment with different dipping sauces like sweet and sour or soy sauce.
