Description

A delicious and effortless dessert made in a slow cooker that combines apple pie filling and muffin mix for a warm treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling (can use sugar free)
  • 2 (7 ounce) packets Martha White Apple Cinnamon muffin mix (or your favorite brand)
  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted (or cut into slices)

Instructions

  1. Lightly spray a 4-6 quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Pour in 2 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling.
  3. Evenly sprinkle 2 (7 ounce) packets Martha White Apple Cinnamon muffin mix on top of the apple pie filling.
  4. Pour ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted over entire muffin mix (the butter won’t cover all the dry muffin mix). You can also just slice the butter and evenly place it all over the muffin mix.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 3-5 hours until muffin mix is fully cooked and apple pie filling is bubbly.

Notes

  • You can use sugar-free apple pie filling for a lighter option.
  • Feel free to substitute the muffin mix with any flavor of your choice.
  • This dessert is best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
