Description
A creamy and cheesy crockpot dish featuring ravioli, chicken, and melted mozzarella, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 jar Alfredo sauce
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic & herb seasoning blend (such as buttery garlic herb mix)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and the garlic herb seasoning.
- Pour the marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is fully covered.
- Cover and cook on high for about 3½ hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks, then mix it well into the sauce.
- Add the frozen cheese ravioli and gently stir to coat with the sauce mixture.
- Cover again and cook for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the ravioli to heat through.
- Stir in most of the shredded mozzarella, reserving a small amount for topping.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the top, cover, and let it sit until the cheese is melted. Serve warm.
Notes
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days.
- You can substitute the chicken with cooked sausage or ground beef for variation.
