Description

A quick and easy recipe for Dump and Bake Ground Beef Alfredo featuring pasta, ground beef, and a creamy sauce baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 10 oz uncooked pasta (I used mini penne)
  • 2 x 15 oz jars alfredo sauce
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of bacon soup
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 8 slices frozen Texas toast garlic bread
  • 2 slices precooked bacon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Drop the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat and use a spatula to break it apart.
  3. Add the diced onions to the skillet. Stir well and continue cooking until the ground beef is fully browned.
  4. Add the chopped garlic to the skillet. Stir well and continue cooking for about 2 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat and set aside.
  5. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  6. Pour the uncooked pasta into the bottom of the dish.
  7. Pour both jars of alfredo sauce and the can of soup over the pasta.
  8. Spoon the cooked ground beef over the sauce.
  9. Add the chicken broth, Italian seasoning and pepper to the baking dish.
  10. Carefully stir together all of the ingredients in the dish.
  11. Cover the dish with foil and place it in the oven. Bake for 50 minutes.
  12. After 50 minutes remove the dish from the oven and lift off the foil.
  13. Stir the pasta well.
  14. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the pasta.
  15. Place the slices of garlic bread on top of the cheese.
  16. Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheese over the garlic bread.
  17. Sprinkle the chopped bacon on top of the cheese.
  18. Return the baking dish to the oven, uncovered, and continue cooking until the cheese is fully melted and just starting to brown a bit, about 10 – 15 minutes.
  19. Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes.
  20. Scoop, serve and enjoy!
