Description

These Fireworks Blondies are a delicious and fun treat that sparkle with festive flavors and colorful M&Ms, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups (400g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups (248g) all purpose flour
  • 2 cups red white, and blue M&Ms
  • ½ cup patriotic sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13” pan with foil and spray well with cooking spray.
  2. Mix butter and brown sugar with a stand or a hand mixer until crumbly.
  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Mix in salt and baking powder, then flour.
  5. Stir in M&Ms and sprinkles.
  6. Spread the mixture in the prepared pan, using cooking spray on your hands to smooth it out for an even layer. Top with extra M&Ms if desired.
  7. Bake for about 22-25 minutes until they start to turn golden, keeping them slightly under baked to avoid dryness.

Notes

  • Err on the side of under baking, as they will continue to cook as they cool.
  • Make sure to spray your hands with cooking spray when spreading the mixture to avoid sticking.
  • Feel free to add extra M&Ms on top for decoration.
