Description

Delicious Glazed Smoked Sausage Pineapple Bites, perfect for impressing your guests.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Smoked Sausage (or kielbasa or turkey sausage)
  • 1 can Pineapple Chunks (reserve some juice)
  • 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Chili Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Honey (maple syrup can be used as a substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon Pineapple Juice (reserved from canned pineapple)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the smoked sausage into 1-inch pieces and arrange in a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Drain the pineapple chunks while reserving 1 tablespoon of juice. Add pineapple to the pan with the sausage.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, chili sauce, honey, and reserved pineapple juice.
  5. Pour the glaze over the sausage and pineapple, gently stirring to coat.
  6. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir and continue baking for another 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm, either straight from the pan or on skewers.
