Description

A delicious and easy recipe for honey glazed steak strips, perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, cut into thin strips
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, black pepper, salt, and paprika if you like a little extra flavor.
  2. Add the steak strips to the bowl, toss well to coat, and cover. Pop it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes—longer if you want more flavor.
  3. Set a grill pan over medium-high heat and let it get nice and hot. Give it a quick spray or brush of oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Lay out the steak strips in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Grill each side for 2–3 minutes until seared and caramelized.
  5. Take the steak off the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve warm—great with rice, roasted veggies, or tucked into wraps and sandwiches.

Notes

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate the steak strips longer than 30 minutes.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the steak is cooked to your liking.
  • Adjust the honey amount based on your sweetness preference.
