Description

A creamy and delicious dish featuring bowtie pasta, tender chicken, and a rich garlic butter sauce topped with mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté seasoned chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, then simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and toss with the sauce.
  7. Add cooked pasta and mix until well coated.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella on top, cover, and let melt for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the spice levels to your taste by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • For a lighter version, replace heavy cream with half-and-half or a lower-fat cream alternative.
  • This dish can be made ahead and reheated easily.
