Description

This Pineapple Lemonade is a refreshing drink perfect for hot days, combining the sweetness of pineapple with the tanginess of lemon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for simple syrup)
  • 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 cups pineapple chunks (fresh, frozen or canned)
  • 1½ cups simple syrup (cooled)
  • 3 cups water (for mixing)
  • 2 cups ice
  • lemon slices or wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Stir on medium to medium-low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside to cool.
  2. Assembly: In a blender, add the lemon juice and pineapple chunks. Blend for 30 to 60 seconds until the pineapple is broken down. If using frozen pineapple, add an additional cup of water.
  3. Strain the mixture from the blender into a pitcher, discarding the frothy pulp (or keep it if you prefer).
  4. Stir in the cooled simple syrup, the remaining 2 to 3 cups of water, and the ice.
  5. Pour into glasses, garnish as desired with lemon slices and pineapple chunks, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
  • This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
