Description
This Pineapple Lemonade is a refreshing drink perfect for hot days, combining the sweetness of pineapple with the tanginess of lemon.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for simple syrup)
- 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 cups pineapple chunks (fresh, frozen or canned)
- 1½ cups simple syrup (cooled)
- 3 cups water (for mixing)
- 2 cups ice

Instructions
- Prepare Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Stir on medium to medium-low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside to cool.
- Assembly: In a blender, add the lemon juice and pineapple chunks. Blend for 30 to 60 seconds until the pineapple is broken down. If using frozen pineapple, add an additional cup of water.
- Strain the mixture from the blender into a pitcher, discarding the frothy pulp (or keep it if you prefer).
- Stir in the cooled simple syrup, the remaining 2 to 3 cups of water, and the ice.
- Pour into glasses, garnish as desired with lemon slices and pineapple chunks, and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
- This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
