- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and fine sea salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the granulated white sugar and packed light brown sugar with the melted butter until well combined.
- Beat in the pumpkin purée, large eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the pumpkin bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For added texture, you can include chopped nuts or chocolate chips in the batter.
